Well it´s about time that I get at blog on WebIQ startet, because where else other and WebIQ should we read, write and debate the subject "Pagerank".?

So to get the blog on it´s way, let´s take a look at what Google has been doing over the summer.

There has been 3 updates, even though many only are aware of the one in June and August.
Did Google also make a small update in July about the 18th, they did mostly decrease given pagerank given to new websites.
I have heard of websites that were less than a month old gets a PageRank >5, which also is something you can read about on a lot of other blogs.

Even one of my websites went from a pagerank 0 to a pagerank 4 on all pages, and that website has about zero seo value. But in July it got a decrease in pagerank, so that the front page only is a PR1 but the link page is a PR2.
Which I think is quite good for a site that only toke 20 min. to make, and hasn´t been touch since.

Not saying that I don´t agree with Google on the downgrading of pagerank, but why make the mistake in the first place.?

Have you seen some odd things happen with your websites or some else?
